Samaj Sebi Sangha’s Durga Puja Pandal theme for the year 2011 is ‘Sindoor Khela’. ‘Sindoor Khela’ is one the most interesting event that takes place on the last day of Durga puja after the immersion of the idol of Goddess Durga. Coloured jute materials have been used for the decoration of the the pandal. With the usage of jute materials for decoration the committee aims to create an awareness among people to use plastic bags to the minimum as it causes a serious threat to the enviorment.
